Cookie policy
The cookies and similar technologies cafealty sets, and what each one is for.
Version 1.0 · effective Feb 1, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. This policy describes what the cafealty platform stores on your device and why.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the platform to work and cannot be switched off without breaking it.
Session cookies keep a signed-in staff, owner, or customer session active so that you are not asked to sign in again on every page.
Security cookies protect against request forgery and detect invalid or expired sessions.
A correlation identifier is attached to requests to help trace a fault through the system when something goes wrong.
3. Functional storage
Where you choose a language or a similar preference, that choice is stored so the platform can honour it on your next visit.
Game progress for an in-progress play may be held for the duration of the visit so that a refresh does not lose it.
4. Analytics and advertising
The platform does not set advertising cookies and does not use cookies to build a marketing profile of you.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and loyalty features from working.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. The version and effective date shown on this page identify the text currently in force.
